Dating tips 30 something

I'm writing about online dating for people over 30. What's your best tip for getting your profile noticed and your emails returned? I'm not looking for ordinary answers here that everyone already knows (like using a good photo.) I'm searching for things out of the ordinary, or a special technique you've used that seems to work well, or even something outrageous (but practical.) Thanks!!! This is for a book I'm writing - by all means feel free to think creative and out of the box. I have plenty of good tips already from my research, and more are always welcome - I just want to see if you can think of anything new under the sun ;-)

so april 30 is my first date and dance for school! it's formal like prom. i'm just stressing about the slow dancing part! i think slow dances are sooo awkward! like do we talk or just dance? what do we talk about? i'm so worried!!! any tips please and thankkk you! (i'm a sophomore going with a senior;) ) btw its even awkward with my best guy friend so don't say like change your date or something:)

Part of slow dancing well is for your bodies to be close. And I know that when you are younger that can be uncomfortable but you can not move together unless you're bodies are touching. I do like to chat when I dance myself unless its a particularly romantic dance ;)

So me and my boyfriend started dating on January 30th. WOO. Now I celebrating our one month is a big thing for us. The thing is... there is no February 30th... any cute tips? We both still wanna celebrate, but we want to do something different. We're young, so keep 'em clean. ;)

This is kind of silly, but over the past few weeks I've been talking with this girl, and I really like her, and I already know she really likes me, so there's no issue there. The issue is that when I try to fall asleep, I can't stop thinking about her. I get butterflies in my stomach and just lay there smiling into my pillow like an idiot :| does anybody have any tips for falling asleep easier when something is on your mind? This isn't the only thing that has led to this problem. In general, I'm very restless. I have a really REALLY hard time getting myself to sleep (that's why I'm on yahoo answers at 4:30 am...) because I just feel like I need to be doing something. For the most part this isn't an issue, but let's say I have an argument with a friend, or I start dating this girl and we have a disagreement. I always like to solve the problem straight away, but sometimes people like to have space, and sometimes solving it right away is impossible. On nights like these, I find it difficult to sleep because I get very anxious and want to resolve the issue and be sure that nothing is wrong. I like things to be fixed. The way I see it, the longer you wait to confront an issue, the more it'll fester while you're waiting, and the bigger it'll be. So does anybody have tips for getting your mind off of things like this with greater ease, or ways to make sleeping easier with a lot on your mind (whether it's good, like this girl, or bad, like a fight)? @ Vi: god idea :) and for some reason I find the glide of a pen across a smooth piece of paper to be somewhat relaxing in itself. TIME FOR A MAN-DIARY! lol X)

I usually write it out if I have something big on my mind. Just keep writing until you've said all you needed to say. It's a good release.
